Here is a selection of significant activities I have undertaken since starting my PhD project:

Teaching

For 'Power and Politics in the Modern World: Comparative Perspective', I teach second and third year undergraduate students. This teaching experience, and especially interactions with my students have become one major source of contentment during COVID time and later the thesis writing-up period. It makes me very happy that my students have improved along the course, both their engagements with class discussions and formative marks. It is heart-warming when some students show their genuine appreciations during office hours.

I also have experience in supervising taught master’s coursework and dissertation projects and lecturing to PhD level students in research seminars.

Conferences and Invited Talks

“Repertories of control: Contrasting land rights regimes and performance of Chinese agricultural investment in Tanzania and Zambia,” a paper presented on African Studies Association Conference, November 2022.
